I use anonymous hosting and someone still got my name

So i have been ewhoring and I was interested in a decline of conversions and i googled the email account associated with the girl i was promoting... and
there a forum page about my girl and the email account... associated with it

and one of the dude says he got my name.. and he displayed it.. so he was not full of bs... and he knows where I host...

now looking up the domain on who is .. is easy for anyone... but i used katz global so my name wouldnt get out.. and this idiot got it....

how could have gotten it ??

he can track your ip through messenger .it's very simple.
and maybe you are active in some forum(or any other platform) with your real name and that forum records your ip and got indexed,listed in google and that's how some people get revealed

thats true too, messenger establishes direct connections (or tries to) which would give up your ip address

if you stream video to a user, that would give up your ip as well

maybe you emailed them from the wrong account by accident? had something in your landing page source referencing another domain that wasn't whois protected?

I'm a bit afraid now...how can you get around this? Proxyfirewall?

I think you can disable direct connections in messenger preferences.

Not 100% sure about video streaming though, "super webcam" mode definitely requires a direct connection. Probably want to disable that.

You should test with a friend to make sure.

i think thats what it is.... an old domain i had... i later put on whois privacy...
but who knows what was indexed... between that time frame...

the whois info was probably indexed then

check this out (scroll down) : http://whois.domaintools.com/sex.com

"2,025 whois records have been archived since..."

Try it with your domain.

lol whoi on the domain for sure, if you used a domain you registered without protection. Stop thinking someone cant rack you back with msn, it's funny I can give you my IP, and all you gonna see os my ISP office, then you will call and ask for my info and they gonna laugh at your face and ask for papers. So it's Whois.

I would have to agree... it would be from the whois information. If it's from a domain you had public then made private, could still get it from the waybackmachine or other cached sources....

MSN connects both users through a server.
AIM however, if you direct connect or transfer files, anyone can do a command prompt netstat and find the persons IP address.
Be careful with streaming video / files on any messenger client.

again.. i am using email.... not video chat or IM chat
