You can check the site manually. Big site with lots of content, news and magazine, any big blog site that operating by any company but not any personal site. You can consider them as Strong Competitors.

Hoffpost, Webmd, Business Insider etc. If you find this type of sites more than 5 in the 1st page. You should not take that keyword.

You can use SEMRush, MOZ, Ahrefs tools for checking Big Authority Sites.
