I think Youtube is Impossible

Hello, so I keep seeing people getting subscribers and views very easily and in very short time! Sometimes with great content and sometimes not.

But the thing is, there are hundreds of this type of channels and they get crazy views, I've been trying since 2016 and all i got in this period is just 100 subscribers!!! Like if you make videos of completely nothing just filming your front door and add different titles and descriptions\tags\thumbnails of different subjects and things that people search about you'd get views faster than this!! I'm thinking it's something about algorithms, and no matter what I do my channel it would still be unpopular..what do you think?

Hello, so I couldn't post the link of my channel. To clarify my point, the channel is about memes and funny pics (channels like: Pics Tube)
 
Not a specialist in the YT world, but I do watch alot of things on it.
I think the problem is your content.
The point of youtube is to offer entertainment. A video of static photos is quite boring.
Even though your channel is about ‘trendy meme’, I would reconsider your choice of using only pics. Maybe you should try doing a compilation of funny vids from tiktok instead!

That’s my 2 cents.
 
Probably the problem is your content. Like @Getire said, I, as well, would much more consider watching video's than looking at pictures.
Also, a good idea would be to promote your videos outside Youtube like in Facebook groups or in Instagram. I would also advise promoting your videos in forums related to your niche, or answering questions in sites like Quora and linking to your videos. It would also be a great idea to make your own website with content that would include your videos and that would have SEO done. That would also bring in extra organic traffic to your YouTube channel.
 
Guys! Videos of static photos makes millions of views until this day, and the channels has hundreds of thousands of subscribers!
 
You got to try to give it a boost on paid ads. Once you get a traction, that would be the time you would see sustainable engagements.
 
I think the most important thing is that people would be really enjoying your films and that should give you many active subscribers.

Quality contents is key. Interesting too. Thumbnail and title is what prompts people to click, so modify those to reflect good quality. Many sh##ty videos get good views because they use clickbait titles/thumbnails and promote their videos everywhere. I personally don't recommend using clickbait.
Maybe also change your niche too. So many options, try different things.

No, if you can work smart, the channel will hike up its reputation. And as you know, your content and the relevant audience must meet up for max exposure and to stay suggested under other videos alike.
 
Static images are already boring to watch on YouTube and it seems the way you create videos is extra boring. If you are making exact videos as pics tube then there shouldn't be a problem but I can tell, the problem is on your side.
It's been 3 years and you realize that now? How many videos did you even make to make such a statement? Just curious
 
I can get more than 100 subscribers in a week with a new channel with very little effort. YouTube is impossible because you are relying on the YouTube algorithm to promote your videos while everyone else is marketing their own channel in different ways. Do not rely on YouTube's algorithm to promote you because you will get nowhere.

Since your not getting anywhere, why not buy fake engagement. Get some subs, views, likes and try to partner and exchange shoutouts with other meme channels? Hell, I don't even own a meme channel and I've been able to exchange shoutouts with meme channels before. It's easy... you just gotta use other methods of promoting yourself relentlessly.

So how do you saw Static Images are boring and then if I'm making videos like Pics Tube then there shouldn't be a problem?

I made over 220 videos, and yeah I always say to myself "you have to wait" and it's been 3 years not but nothing happened!

Sorry but how can you get a 100 subs with a new channel if you don't mind me asking? If I don't rely on Youtube algorithm then it's kind of impossible in other ways, people tend to not click on youtube links on social media websites because it leads them to somewhere outside of the application, they are used to watch videos on the app itself whether it was facebook or instagram or whatever..

As for fake engagement, I'm afraid I'd get my channel suspended
 
No, Search unique niche and Research than Start. Some of my Friends Dong well.(Note: You can invest some for getting Great niche).
 
What about that 10hr video of just a blank white screen which has over 4 million views!!! how did he achieve that?!
