Honestly, if your phone gets the same speeds, the proxy setup probably isn't the bottleneck. Before moving houses I'd try testing different carriers, external antennas, or simply placing the device in the best signal spot you can find. Sometimes a few meters can make a huge difference with mobile data. 5 Mbps down and under 1 Mbps up sounds more like a coverage issue than a proxy issue.

my speeds are 5-10mbps. there are those who asked for faster but so far they are not willing top ay for increased speeds
