I believe I found an unsaturated niche that I could brand really well. Product costs $1-3 and could sell from $21-26. The only downside of it is that it wouldn't be exactly dropshipping. I would have to buy the product in bulk. Perhaps an inventory investment of $300 or so. Not too bad. Worse case scenario I donate the unsold inventory.

Those who've had success, was there any thoughts that came to your head knowing that it was "the one", or did you just throw ad spend at it and saw how it performed?

Nothing wrong with having stock at hand. It's better if you want something longer term in my opinion.

I started with a similar sized investment in our product line simply because I wasn't sure how our "story" would fair against competitors and workout out the different ranges and price points. So I tested the introduction product line on eBay.

It allowed me to test the market, reach the customer from day one, work out what images sold what products, wording and pricing. As soon as I had all that figured out I added 10-15% additional to my products and listed them on our own website (I added slightly more) as I find the Ebay customers to be after a bargain where as on the branded site you can charge a little bit more.

I still do the same today, test all new products and lines / ideas on eBay see what work's what does not. If no sales after 60 days customer is not interested and I won't waste any more time / money.

I actually also just found my unsaturated winning product now also that costs range of 2 to 3$ that can be sold for 39.99

Like that! I started my IM career off eBay myself. Basically use eBay as a way to get results before you throw ad spend on it.

Nice going! Fortunately for us, we're in two different niches because it would be a little hard to sell my product for $39.99!

What next?

Build a simple!! shopify store with a big buy button by watching videos on Youtube if you don't know how.

Or hire a shopify designer.

Get a video ad done for your product, this is the most crucial part of your success. You can use websites like https://bandsoffads.com/ to get it professionally done(not affiliated)

Run ads or instagram influencers related to your product.

Bring me the money gun

Guess the only way from here is forward lol. Buy some inventory, experiment on eBay while I build the site and marketing materials. Because of the niche it's in, I was thinking of throwing a micro influencer "$200 worth" of free product (cost me $20 or so) to create an ad video for me + share it across their Instagram.
