I do that too.
Our hands are not staying in a sterile medium during the day. Especially when not home.
That comes with the realization that anything can go from our hands to our mouth, then inside the body = potential danger.
I had this before COVID ERA, not a panic implemented in the last few years haha.
As someone said earlier, that's basic hygiene.
