I think doing this might help new members and protect them from getting scammed.

While there are multiple threads which explain how to be safe on BHW, still some newbies are getting scammed. So I was thinking how about a banner gets displayed every time someone new browses BHW saying the following.

"If someone asks for upfront payment from you in USDT/ BTC or any other cryptocurrency, then please be extra cautious and pay attention to things like account age and reputation on BHW."

"If someone wants to take things off BHW to TG, then too you need to be extra cautious as well."

Suggesting this because I believe it might genuinely help newbies who sometimes get overwhelmed by the forum and its many features.

So something like this but in red or something ? :O
and Read more could lead them to staying safe on BHW

I like that
More like "Can you confirm you are above 18" type of banners which are there on certain types of sites when you try tp browse them. :D

But am serious about this suggestion. Like it might legit prevent a lot of newbies from getting scammed.

My point here is that a bulk of scams wont happen if BHW does this.

There is plenty of content around the forum about staying safe online, adding a line to every page wouldn't be statistically reflective of the minute number of reports we see in the Dispute Resolutions.

We already have a thread which goes into avoiding scams in more detail, which was then revived this year in a market safety guide here. This is promoted to all newbies as they sign up.
