There is no such thing as karma . . . other than what you invest in it. It is ALL in your mind.
What you love manifests itself. What you hate/fear manifests itself. Ultimately, Good and Evil are concepts, subject to interpretation by the individual. In some places in the world, if a man kills your brother, it is your DUTY to kill that man, and you will lose respect in your community if you don't. In other places (like the USA), it is a sin to kill anyone for any reason. In fact, in some places (or religions) it is a sin to kill any THING. Who is "right?" . . . That is yet another concept.
We often hear people say "he is a BAD person", or "he is a GOOD person" . . . In reality, I am sometimes this and sometimes that. Sometimes I am a thoughtful, kind individual. But there are times when I can be an impatient, uncaring S.O.B. So what am I? . . . Bad or Good? Fact is, I am sometimes this and sometimes that. . . . It is part of the Yin-Yang that is in every individual.
We often think of Yin-Yang as "opposites". . . Bad/Good, Left/Right, Day/Night, Wrong/Right, etc. . . When in actuality these seemingly "opposites" are Mutually Dependent upon each other . . . You can't have Good without Bad. They depend on each other for their own existence, just as you cannot have an inside without an outside, an up without a down.
Once a person has learned to embrace BOTH of these "polarities" in him or herself, he or she becomes whole.
Have you ever looked at the Yin-Yang symbol? . . . It is amazing what it represents. The white half of the circle has a small black "seed" in it . . . and the black half of the circle has a small white "seed" in it. What does it mean? . . . Basically it means that within the Good, there is the seed of bad . . . and within Bad, there is the seed of good - Within the Night, there is the seed of daylight, and within Daylight, there is the seed of Darkness.
An ancient Taoist master named Chuang Tzu once wrote:
"Last night, I went to sleep and dreamed I was a butterfly, then I woke up. Now, am I a man who once dreamed he was a butterfly? . . . or am I a butterfly who is now dreaming that I am a man?"
Life is a dream . . . Maybe someday when I have passed on, God will come up to me and say, "So tell me, Wiz, how did you like the show?"
Cheers! - "Wiz"
