Vendio has quickly turned into a scammy little company.

I listed 10 things through a new account on Vendio about 3 months ago, I scheduled the listing to start at 7 PM PST - none of them went live until 2 AM, so I canceled the listings and closed my Vendio as I was mostly using Auctiva at the time anyways.

I get a bill in the mail...

$2390.00

I e-mail them, as you can't call them. They tell me there shows no discrepancies with my listings. I asked them how many items were listed. They don't respond.

They call me up, and demand the money. I asked, how many items did I list under their "60 day free trial" - he doesn't say, and says "Hey look, if your business can't afford to pay the 2300 dollars, then thats not my fault. Maybe we can lower it to $1900 but only if you pay tonight!" - Insert thick Indian voice. At which point I tell them to take me to court, or drop it. He tells me "Go fuck" and hangs up.

No thank you Vendio.

I posted this on the PowersellersUnite forum, and it was quickly taken down.

BTW, only about 30% of your listings will actually upload to Amazon, pretty much defeating the point of even using Vendio for selling on eBay and Amazon.

Oh, that sucks. I use auctiva, but I hate how you can't export listings with Auctiva.

Wow, seems like a pretty big company, when you said "insert thick Indian voice here", I assumed an almost completely text based website with enough spelling mistakes to consider it another language.

Got acquired by Alibaba.com a while back according on the on-site news. If they keep fucking with you, might want to take it up with them.

There are only a handful of people on this forum's opinions I take without a doubt, and EbayMafia is on that short list. Thanks for the heads up!

I was interested in them, now i have second thoughts. Do you recommend a better company? Thanks

Since I call vendio all the time I don't think there is much merit to this when you claim they don't have a phone number. Expect to talk to someone from India tho.

Back when I wrote this about 2 months ago, you had to pay an extra couple bucks a month to speak with any type of customer support. Being someone who only liked their research tool, I didn't see a point in paying it. I would be more than happy to pull up a bunch of CS complaints by Vendio users on their own "forums" for not supplying a direct phone number, and instead having to wait for Vendio to contact the user whenever it was in the companies best interest.

I try vendio before ,but cancel 4 days later, E -Mafia is right, don't waste you time and money

If you only tried it for 4 days then how could you know? Granted, about a year or so ago they changed their entire infrastucture. I have heard complaints about the new format they use. However, they still allow people like me to continue to use the old system and that is golden. I still don't understand the problem with phoning them though. They had their phone number on the front page ever since I've used them. I know like every Indian in their phone support network at this point.

i just don't have enough time to deal with it ,may be they get better now ,i don't check it anymore ,but i wouldn't use it again. Not my taste ,sorry .But they may work for you better :)

Alpha ,i never said anyone should follow my footsteps :)) Use them ,and prove i am wrong .
And BTW , cheaper just get e commerce website ,were you can upload inventory ,than use them .Just my 2 cents
