Hello everyone, (in advance sorry for my english)

I'm a french guy, I'm 26 years old and I'm doing bullshit internship for a company that no nothing about IM.

I'm managing their amazon vendor central account, but how to say, they are just selling 6k per week, and it's not a small company (turnover of 80 m last year)

I'm triyng to give them advice but my boss is 45 years old and no nothing about the new world, generate traffic and the other stuff.

It's very very hard to speak with my boss because she's doesn't know what to do and where is she going.

So I decided that I'm not going to waste my time anymore, I will do just normal job till the end of my internship in september, trying to do the less possible for them and the most possible for me.

I can work for them just two hour per day, and the rest of the day it's for me (but I have to stay in the office).

Hopefully I have a desktop, and I can do what I want.

I have some idea of business, I will try to develop them during my 9-5 job.

I swear that I will do it. "get rich or die tryin"

First idea I will try to rank one wordpress website, I bought the domain one year ago and I was leazy to work in it because I have to study for my master degree.

Now uni is the over and I have to be a man.

The problem is one hacker take the property of my wordpress blog and put a lot of articles, I changed everything (config php password etc) I think that is not going to be able share content and put some backlink.

But I don't know if my domain name is flagged by google.

I added google search console in the dns and I'm waiting to see if I have some "manual penalty".

Otherwise if my domain is flagged I think that I'm going to purchase an other domain...

I'm going to invest something like 600 e in my website.

I have an other idea of domain where I can sell my service but the website has to look "pro", So I will need logo and good design. I know nothing about web design but I will do it.

Also I have to find lot of Sim card to open my "army of facebook account and instagram account". I know that it will be helpful for me in the future.

I'm not a slave, I'm 26 year old, I'm a Man, and I will do it.

Maybe it's possible to persuade her. You just need to get more evidences to prove your point, such as some case studies, some statistics...And you shuold let her know how horrible is it if she don't do online marketing well. And emotion is very important for women. Before talking to her, make sure her emotion is good. If she is in a bad mood, there is no way you can persuade her.

As for sim cards you'll have to get them online ( from online service providers ) as in France it's nearly impossible to farm sim cards ( already had the experience)
 
Just a little update :

Tomorrow I have a meeting with my boss and other member of the board of the company.

Going to present my strategy but in reality I don't care about their opinion.

Now I know that I have no solution, I can't be a slave all my life, so going to do normal job, just enough to finish my internship and get my diploma.

My plan is to do everything in the first hour of the morning, the rest of the day is for me.

I'm also bulding a profile in quora, answering to some question, after I will send link to my blog with my quora profile.
 
Sounds like a good plan. Most of the 9-5 feel like that I believe.

I've done my job today for the company...

So I'm working on a niche blog, I created a fake facebook account and contacted some interesting people who can give an interesting testimony, the problem is that this blog is related to a female domain (surgery).
And under my fake facebook profile, I am a woman, So how to organize the interview?

I guess I can not go through facetime or skype ...

In addition, people agree to send me pictures before / after, so I will have original content.

Ideas for organizing this interview?

Just do the interview as a chat?

Also, do I have to invest in a theme?

I have some saving but I want to invest in a smart way!

In fact, it's not the boss of the company, it's a manager...

The turnover is down for three years ...
 
Little update:

The meeting was full BS, but one good point, they said to me "Thank you for your good work :):):)",

till now I know that I'm going to do what I want during the day.

So now I have a lot of project and I have to select between :
  • Bulding my own service of community management
  • Trying to build an amazon affiliate website (I can do it in the niche of the company)
  • Trying to open amazon seller account in the same niche of the company where I'm currently working (I don't have enough budget I think)
  • Triying to build wordpress blog in the surgery niche
I can't do everything, I have to select one or two project...
 
I was in same kind of situation. What i did was that i worked for 2 years and got enough funding for my future projects and i also got experience which is needed to run a company or business online. Nothing to loose :)

As a first online experience I will try to build a amazon affiliate website.

Actually, I'm writing some content for the niche that I want to target.

I didn't make a list with the keyword that I'm targeting, but I have a lot of knowledge in this niche so I hope that it will be sufficient.

Also It's very hard for me to write long text and to stay focus.

I'm also searching some theme for wordpress.

I have a question for people with some experience in design. Is it hard to create a child theme?
