I Suspect Pinerly Is A Scam

There was a thread here a while back where a member was promoting Pinerly, which allegedly provides Pinterest analytics.

I only have a handful of Pinterest accounts, however I only used one account to register with Pinerly. I just discovered that my account repinned a pin without my authorisation, and it was the account attached to Pinerly.

Here is the pin, which has now been repinned 5722 times.


I don't really have any other proof. The only other thing I've used where I had to enter my Pinterest details were Fatboys bots, and he wouldn't screw anyone over.

I checked my affiliate links on my pins, and they're all in order. But I'm going to change the e-mail attached to this account now. If anyone else here registered on Pinerly, can you check your account and report back?

If the guy that owns Pinerly reads this, that's pretty clever. But in the words of the InternetHustler, I really want to punch you in the dick.

You changed the url of the pin right?

If someone pinned something in my account and I got 5700 repins and I caught it in time to change the url....that would be a good thing

Pinerly doesn't seem to send out the invites as promised, i got the referred 10 friends to get the bonus features as well!

Where did the five thousand repins direct to? Your site?

Pinterest removed the pin. It redirected to a CPA offer.

@globalwonplusdotinfo - That's the correct thread. That being said, I have no proof.

@GiftGuru It was their pin, from two accounts. So everyone else repinned it, without any authorisation. You didn't even have to be following them, or like any of their pins.

@JackSparrow I got 10 referrals, but none of the features they promised. I e-mailed them, where they said they'll make sure my account is upgraded when they do the next batch....never happened.

Strange.
