i did have 2k subs, and 5hrs watch time. just starting apply monetize today

I think it's pure luck, because I've seen elsewhere that there are some who waited for months already...

I monetized a lot of channel last month, I can tell you that it depend on your contents !
I manage to monetize gameplay video with commentary in just 2 weeks !
But when I tried to monetize gameplay video without commentary, it takes me 1,5 month - 2 month and some channel have been denied
So if you use any copyright content / non original content, you will wait more than 1 month and you can even be denied

it will take as long as youtube thinks your content deseves monitizing .
if ather 1k subs and yt thinks content good , your get aproved .

they changed their will respod in a week, to will respond in a month now.
i had waited for 3 months until i decided to spam them with feedback messages telling them to monetize me (button at bottom of page saying send feedback)
then they answered me.
they will monetize you if your content isnt copyrighted, if you have 20 videos you mqde your self and just ONE video that was a reupload you wont get approved, and youl have to wait an extra month to reapply. so clean up your chanel while you can!
PS: spamming seemed to work; they reviewed me after like two weekes of spamming.

My channel has been under review for 3 months. So if there is a one copyright video, how do I clean it? By deleting the video or making it private?
About spamming thing, did you send that feedback every day for two weeks?
