Joking aside:
I don't need to be the one to point out the obvious, man.
But you got 2.1 million views from 80 shorts.
So what if it took 2 months?
I just want you to focus on the fact that it could be so much worse.
There are so many people out there who would love to be in your position.
After producing 80 shorts, you're getting so many views.
There are a lot of people, believe it or not, who produce way more content only to settle for so much less.
I know a lot of people have this false impression that after putting in the work, they should get a lot of rewards.
Believe me.
I know where you are coming from.
But if you really want to be successful in this game, you have to remember that YouTube is a marathon.
It is never a sprint.
Sure, there are some people that get really lucky with shorts.
But for the most part, you have to earn that success.
The best way to do this is to be consistent, pay close attention to your analytics, and pay close attention to finding patterns.
You will notice that some topics get a lot more views than others.
Find those topics.
Hone them.
Drill down.
Once you get the hang of it, you will start to get predictable levels of traffic per short that you release.
Pretty soon, your channel as a whole will get momentum and then you can start making the real money with long-form content.
Hang in there.
