Ok, so last week I saw somebody claiming they had good product and wanted people to sell it for him on Ebay. So I looked into it, it was video games. The deal was: I list one as a tester, sell it and send the buyers details to him and he'll ship it out, He then mails me tracking number and I pay him his share.

So, sounded pretty good with out much to lose and $0 out of pocket. I listed the product and it sold the next day (fri) that saturday he sent me a tracking number...which still shows it NOT being delivered. Well, today, the apparent buyer of the game left me a positive feedback.

So in summary, there is really no way the customer could have gotten the package that quick and the guy I sold for would like to get his share.

Is there anything shady going on here? I can't think how I could get beat but...

Some buyers leave feedback before they actually get the item. Had that happen before. Never a bad thing :) But hopefully he does get the item.

i just hope that not abercrombie/hannahmontana aka jason stilwell is back under another username and try to pull his ebay stunt again...

maybe not, because his specialities were pirated softwares (Abobe?)

just be aware with these ebay JVs, especially if you have a well-established ebay account what you don't want to ruin

True, but I almost have the feeling the buyer IS the seller! lol I know that sounds crazy and can't think of what he has to gain by doing that but it seems that way. As soon as the buyer left feedback the seller sent me an email saying that the buyer has the product.
Or, I could be paranoid lol.

Hmm, I've seen him around before. What was his stunt?

And its the gold on hustle. Do one transaction that goes through supper smooth and scam them on the repeat business.

so did you get paid for this product... the buyer paid you??

He probably wants you to feel comfortable with him with this one transaction. Next time when the stakes are 100X higher, he'll scam you.

Yea, this is what I'm thinking too. Thanks
