I would suggest that if you're thinking of going the mining route, you must start with the right type of equipment.
If you just have a few graphics cards that you're going to use, mining is not going to be as efficient as you expect it.
Chances are, depending on how expensive electricity is in your area, you might not get the kind of return you're hoping for.
I would suggest that you invest in an ASICs card that targets a lower-ranked, less popular crypto.
Why go this route?
Well, if you're shooting for Bitcoin or Ethereum or some of the big players, you're going to have a lot more competitors.
It takes a long time and more processing power to mine those cryptos.
Shoot for lesser known crypto which you can more easily mine and then sell on an exchange and then you can use those funds to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum or some other crypto.
