Damn lucky I never purchased from that dude, I was suspicious... think it was the linkedin profile with something like 3 asian contacts ... the contacts were listed as journalists but they themselves only had a few contacts....and his English was a bit rough to be in that line of business. Was excited about making an order but lucky I was waiting for a flood of reviews to come in before taking the risk

Surely they can trace the money... and good detective work skyrocket

hmmm then what about Thread approval by BHW staff?
BHW staff test it first after that thread gt approved, so no one can claim any thing in his/her service thread,which is not possible to deliver
 
They scammers aren't totally stupid, they would give BHW staff legit and quality stuff so that they can actually scam the people looking to purchase from them.

but Service provider should provide highest service (he/she mentioned in his service thread) as a test to the BHW Staff

They didn't test all the links from that list, only HuffPo.
 
It's stuff like this that makes me glad to be a professional copywriter. Never been scammed for content to this day. Then again, why would I scam myself?

Sorry to hear how many people this has effected as well as the scope of the revenues potentially lost. Hoping he comes through with some high quality content for people and isn't a complete scammer. However, if people lost money from transactions that originated here on BHW, isn't that what the shitlist is for? I do understand he may be a ghost at this time though. Hope it works out for everyone!

Yeah, ridiculous claims about being able to get links on Forbes, Tech Crunch, etc.

Anyone that CAN get these links would laugh at his prices...and laugh at the fact that some jackass clown that can't even string together a sentence claims he can get these links.
 
It's because they don't pay their writers, so selling links is more fruitful. I've thought about trying to get in myself and selling links.

I had this Russian pay me pretty well for a "TechCrunch" article. I thought she was trying to scam me, but paid me well for the article and gave me no hassles. I should see if it was ever published. I wondered how she was going to get it into TechCrunch, but didn't ask.

Sometimes, they even offer quality services for the first 20 or so clients before they just start scamming. There are unfortunately a lot of shady sellers in the BST sections (I see a lot of ostensibly honest ones there too who care about their work).
 
The seller of the service said no adult sites are allowed, but the reality is that sites such as TC are okay with adult sites. For example this article from 5 years ago linked to at the time a sex toy website.

Why would you even disallow adult websites if you actually knew what you were doing. It seems like the line about No Adult/Casino was just to fool people into thinking he only deals with good quality sites, and therefore he has good quality service.

Also bloomberg allows articles about gambling websites.

I think he's your typical broke joker who thought he'd just get any author from these sites to post links. The problem is that his price point is too low, so why would an author making (just as an example) $5k/month from these sites bother with a $150 offer? I think he didn't realize that people actually do make good coin with these sites and they aren't going to give it up for a shitty offer.
 
Anytime I see someone willing to write a review for $2 or "good quality" cheap articles.... that raises huge red flags for me.

Also, this really should have been a shitlist thread. Just a matter of principle not money. If dude doesn't get banned and people forget about this thread what happens next? People forget and keep ordering?
