I regret getting cloakfish

I just bought cloakfish on a whim with my last $10. I read all the posts about how many people use it to post on CL. Which I am wanting to do. I bought the $9 version that has 4 proxies. The 3 out of the 4 don't even work. The other proxy works fine and it goes to craigslist and it wants me to create an account. This is only Day 1 with the program so tomorrow hopefully the new 4 proxies might help. If you have the program and can help enlighten me please post.

Why don't you just buy private socks5/socks4? They're like .50 cents a piece.

I bought the $20 version and couldn't even get it to work. At least you got a working proxy, why not go spam up Gumtree and a million other sites instead of posting here?

If that was his experience with the product, why should he not be allowed to comment on it? I also paid for it before going in a different direction and I gave it a negative review as well. The owner is on the forum yes, and in fact is a good guy from my limited exchanges with him. He was helpful but the fact remained that for my purposes, the proxies were ACHINGLY slow...no better than TOR.

Why don't you try elite proxies. If you need them, then just message me. It's free, i won't charge you and they are much better than the one's you mentioned(cloakfish).

Well this is the 3rd time trying to use the program and NONE of the proxies work. TOR did a better job then Cloakfish. Only thing Cloakfish has on TOR is where you want your IP to be from. I was really hoping this program in one day with the 4 proxies will get me enough so I can buy the unlimited proxies version. With one post on CL I can make $35 so I just saw dollar signs with this program. Well im done ranting now. Good night all.

if the proxies don't work just email them and won't they replace them? I swear I read it somewhere.

I was just thinking of signing up cloakfish. Hope more will share their experiences.

You can set TOR to use only certain exit nodes, say for example you only want IPs from the USA. I posted it here before. If you want to know how to set that up, let me know and I'll dig up my notes.

I used cloakfish for several months and I also bought the 4 proxie package. It worked fine for me. I never had a proxie that did not work. I just don't like making monthly payments if I don't have to and I found a product that I paid for once and it does the job.

this is a good thread and was exactly what I was wanting to know. How well does cloakfish proxies work with posting on CL. I have cable and can change it like maybe 4x and then it seems to only go back and forth to the same 4 IP's. I am looking for a better solution.

There was a large thread (in the blackhat tools section) with hundreds of positive comments on cloakfish (as well as a few negative ones), sadly it was removed by the mods as I'm the owner of Cloakfish and did not pay for it to be there.


I've not responded to the OP as this is not the right way to talk about a problem.
He could have asked for a refund and probably received one, he could have asked to solve his troubles and would have been served.
Instead of reading or asking how to correctly use Cloakfish he directly complained in public.

As he never contacted me or CF customer service I also didn't care about it to be honest.

Cloakfish will give you between 30% and 70% success rate on Craigslist without PVA if you use the filter "show only little shared IPs".
But you might experienace auto-flagging depending on the previous use, I have no statistic about that.
Cloakfish has highest possible anonymity (untraceable), automated and semiauto IP rotation and all IPs (400-800 at one time, many dynamic) are geo located (city and country).
The performance is between dialup and 10 megabits, most are more in the dialup direction as they are actual DSL or Cable IPs.
If you need much bandwidth it's the wrong tool, if you need high anonymity, many different cities or IPs it might be a good help.

As you can change all your IPs every day (take new ones from the pool) you can try again daily. (Or keep using the previous IPs)

For Craigslist it is a cheap solution, good for some testing and actually some BHW members reported they ran successful CL campaigns through it.
As a part of the IPs is PVA-blocked you'll have random success rates.
If you want a premium Craigslist solution you need PVAs and private proxies.



I think secretboy08 (from here) was using Cloakfish for Craigslist for a few months, maybe ask him. (but I might have mixed up the nicknames).

If you get Cloakfish you can try an evaluation license (1$), if you really want to use it make sure you use "Autorotation" (Standardfish or larger).
It makes handling faster, switching IPs easier and increases proxy performance.

You know for a while so was I. It was great. The $19/month Standardfish was strong and flexible. When I had questions it was mostly impossible to get a hold of you though. I never understood why when I went to whatsmyipaddress.c0m my real ip still showed. A video tutorial would be Excellent. The instructions are very confusing.

Yeah, I was Stupid enough to buy to this Cloakfish BS as well some time ago. TG only for a month. Never was able to get it work, and when I asked for help - Couple of times! - privately and in the forum it was basically more less implified that it is My Stupidity I don't know how to set it up properly and get it work! (regardless I've been online for some time now, even used to have my own proxy site...)

Now I am using the Hidemyass Advanced VPN service, -> click one button and voila! The Internet World looks Totally different. Even MSN is unable to find out where I am from

So yes, I agree, I Was Stupid to toss away money for such a 'service', I could give it to my favorite charity instead

Actually HMA is even cheaper then CF if you buy 6 or 12 month license. And you get More proxies - they are adding new IPs all the time. I even see Netherlands and Sweden there now. Those are good - considered the Honest guys...

As for me, it seems I Truly got 'addicted' to their service, cannot even imagine How I will live on the Net if they discontinue their service

And One click button solution CANNOT be beaten! IMHO
