OP stated that he recovered for a penguin hit using the disavow file.301 redirect.. Look it up
301 redirects still work and will work but that doesn't mean that he recovered for the penalty.

Nope. there are ppl reporting that this works. He 301 to another domain and made a disavow file on old+ new domain so old links won't pass anything, neither the penalty or link juice. Good job ;-)

Theoretically...
Disavowing the bad links should remove the "bad juice" from flowing through the domain (And the 301 Too) ???
It sounds like a smart move and something i'm working on for a client right now.
I can see what you're thinking though, it could be only a temporary sticking plaster till the next refresh.

thanks AL, Yeah by disavowing all the crap and redirecting back it didn't pass penalty i hope, i think did the trick curious for other people to try it and let us know .

Probably op never had any penalty at all but a decrease in rankings and the post seems pretty deceptive by the lack of data included.
Disavow tool in my experience never works and goolgle do delete your links but for me it took almost a year for a few hundred so i think the tool is useless.
BTW, the sites i have seen being penalized, are sites that went from page 1 to nowhere from here to hell, not just a simple decrease on rankings.

but i honestly say this post is bs, excuse me op.

Well good job explaining yourself, very good kiddo, now there is something, now we know it took you a year to learn how to control your backlink profile using 301s, sure it works genius.
What concerns to me is that people think the disavow tool is effective but it is really the google tool and they use it for data retrieving not to help you rank, bear that in mind.
Also the results of a disavow action, if they ever take place, would not be before a few months at best.
If you want, keep raging, kind of makes a funny time.

First of all, you DID NOT recover from Penguin 3.0. No discussion about it. A new Penguin refresh is needed to recover from Penguin. Period.
Since you deleted the OP, I don't exactly know what you were thinking, but the disavow tool also didn't do jack shit because it also needs a Penguin refresh to work. If you used a 301, yes it will work but only temporary. Enjoy your few weeks of ranking until the penalty transfers over to your new domain. ;-)

penguin is algorithmic meaning automatic, meaning when your site is "cured" it will automatically come back, what don't you understand?
the penalty is not going to transfer because its my OLD domain that was hit, not a redirect and i disavowed all bad links before i put the domain back.
