Hi there ,
well i am posting some yahoo answers . However after few yahoo answers i receive 999 error. Whats the solution for this? I guess i have to use proxies. Can anyone guide me here how to use proxies or any other solution.

Thanks in advance

That means your IP has been banned. It'll probably reset afte 48 hours. There are many proxy solutions, just do a search on the forum for proxy software and services.

the way i got around the error was simple in most of my answers i had my url in the answer so i got the error , later i put the url in the answer only half the time and the other half the time in the bottom link section. worked like a charm never got the error again , or just wait it out only 48 hrs :)

can anyone direct me to proxy solution? I am little confused which proxy software should i use?

thanks i have downloaded the software. I guess now i have to download proxies. where can i find good proxies to use? Is this software come with proxies?

whats the difference between socks and https?

There are 3 types of options private proxies , manual proxies and open proxies. I guess for private proxies i have to be the member of site. should i use open or manual proxies? I guess there was forum for proxies. ????

I downloaded proxies from bhw proxy section

then i checked all of them. All list vanished only 6 remained. Now the final list is there. I tried to answer yahoo questions again. I should add here , that i didnt restart the computer. My yahoo account was already logged in. The 999 error is still there

Your account's probably banned then. Clear your cookies/cache/etcetera and start over.

Also, read the forum. Don't just half-browse the titles and pray.

At least one time I got three 999 errors and in that next trial (second afterwards) everything was Ok.

Your account's probably banned then...

My experience has been that when your account is banned it will say it is banned. The "999" is for posting too much too quickly. Access should be back in a couple of days.

In my experience the 999 error is from posting too frequently with the same URLS.

I don't know squat about yahoo answers, I should've stated that. But ya, still switch accounts and all. That's just a good practice overall.
