My website is having a relatively serious problem.
Prior to the May update of google, the site had 25,000 traffic but then dropped to 8,000 and showed no sign of increasing.
This situation has been going on for 2 months since.
It is a form of commercial website and article. The product catalog on the website doesn't have too many products and there are quite a lot of articles on the site. Things that make my website stagnant and unable to grow?
I have added the articles to the catalog and have also optimized the articles to make them more beautiful and more customer friendly but that doesn't seem to work.
What should I do? Please help me.

Buy backlinks, add more content, update outdated content.

Have you done a proper keyword resesarch for articles? Having more articles will never harm your website. Try paying more attention to trending keywords and articles?

Add backlinks from highly trusted sites, give PBN links, and make sure your content should be unique.

You were on the receiving end of one of Google’s updates. Many sites have been hit. The people at Google are supposedly working to normalize that traffic hit, so that’s something for you to look forward to.
As for what you can do in the meantime, quality backlinks are always a good investment for increasing traffic. If you can keep producing content as well, that will likewise prevent you from sinking further. Weather the storm, and you will eventually see a rainbow.
Good luck!

Backlinks from high authority related sites will always help you. Improve the quality of your content and promote it...

I hear Google changing things because Covid. We have similar problem due to less web crawl by Google.

People are watching Netflix.

Why don't you add new content with longtail keywords?

Keep the quality articles, and remove the unnecessary ones, build high-quality backlinks from relevant sites.

Write and publish new articles.

Do the keyword research and opt for the keywords having high search volume and lower competition.
