I quit

I think that's a smart move to sell bitcoin now. It's probably gonna go down and you can buy it again.

But something of that value is kept in reserves. Right?
What exactly? Palpable things as money/gold? The fluctuation of money is just more slowly, that's why banks love them. The future is not of palpable things. There are many countries in the world where real money (coins and notes) is from the past. In the UK, personally, I never pay with cash.

Same as we switch from cash to card, it's inevitable from money to "eMoney", it's just a meter of time and just to guess the lucky winner, definitely will not be bitcoin, but bitcoin will be like an expensive bank we all need it, same as PayPal at this point.

I guess bitcoin in 10 years will be like a painting of Da Vinci, but other coins as Elrond will be the nuclear energy of this ecosystem, because of the speed, costs, scalability.

Most of the money we have, they are actually just a number somewhere, in the bank or in crypto in this case.
When I invested in our country's stock market, my broker used to say that investors should never get their money out. As long as the money are in the game, it is just that.. a game. Once you cash out and see that you can actually spend that amount, everything changes in their heads. That's what I was talking about and not crypto alone:)

Posts like these are why I hate scrolling through /r/Crypto and /r/WallStreetBets

It's basically gambling on a massive scale lol

Enjoy the current profits, however the future of BTC remains very bright.

What's your bank balance right now after selling btc?

Was the guy you sold it to the one who convinced you to sell it? #BHW

good or not , since you already sell it, it's done deal.
my suggestion, never buy or sell based on other opinion.
you need to have your own understanding, and make decision on your own.

Well the decision was made by me ofcourse and he just told his past experience and shared this:-

"Farmers and hunters in third-world countries have been capturing monkeys for centuries. If you want to catch a monkey, you have to trap it. Here’s how: A farmer or hunter will take a gourd, or they’ll cut a small hole into a termite mound if they’re in Africa. The small hole they cut will be just big enough for the monkey to fit their hand through. Inside the gourd or the jar they’ll put nuts or sweets, something the monkey craves.

Then they wait. Sooner or later a monkey will come by and smell the nuts, and they’ll want it. They’ll put their hand through the hole, grab a fistful of nuts, and then they’ll try to pull their hand back out. But they can’t. The hole is small enough to put their empty hand through, but not big enough for a hand clutching a fistful of nuts. They’re stuck.

Now, at this point, the monkey should realize, “Hey, I’m stuck, drop the nuts.” But they don’t. They want the nuts. They don’t want to surrender the nuts. So they pull and pull and pull, refusing to drop the nuts, and the hunter or farmer comes up behind and snatches them.

If they just surrendered what they were holding on to, they could have been free. But because they refused to surrender, they lost their ultimate freedom."

Then asked me are u smarter than monkey?

All in all according to his active crypto trading experiences past 3 years he concluded this. Now I believe the same as no technicalities or logic works while trading crypto. To the ones who think it will eventually go up is either their self belief or they read it somewhere. There isn't any strong base where one can say it will for sure going to go up. What we have is past experience when it break 20k and how it went down.

Here is the chart showing how my friend acted when it break 20k and he didn't wanted me to be in the same trap:-

Congrats OP.. in an alternate universe the price dumps to $20K tomorrow and you freak out and sell then, so be happy you sold at a point you’re satisfied with.

You already done better than 50% of retail traders

Sell only when you need of money, BTC is getting lesser and lesser. Keep it for long-term and you will be surprised.
