I quit wordpress definitely because...

I just stick to html + php and it works wonders. Really, all those CMS just slow down the websites lol.

Eh, you can make Wordpress sites very fast. Wordpress is open-source and that’s big for me.

Webflow has its benefits as well. Native membership options to make eCommerce websites possible. It’s good for portfolio websites, service websites, and product sites. Simple & direct.

What I don’t like is you kind of have to use their hosting or you lose some CMS capabilities. Or atleast, back when I explored building sites with it, it was like that.

I'm sure of that, but when scaling spam blogs, wordpress is your worst enemy :D

I do not know how I am suppose to feel about this. There are ups and downs about both? Especially right now in early stage....

I'm so used to WordPress that I'm not sure if it'll be feasible for me to use a different platform. I don't intend to switch to another CMS any time soon, and I don't want to go through the learning curve.

if in 5 years clients are explicitly asking for web-flow, sure, i will think about it, but for now, every moment you spend familiarizing yourself with new platform is time you didnt spent making money or enjoying life. unless you
I can't agree more. That's surely where the opportunity cost lies.

I see that the number of people are still using WordPress. It is really dead or just they are using it?

It is hard to replace WordPress but it is always my interest to move away using this CMS

It's defiantly worth adding webflow to your range of skills, a cutting-edge web ide? Why not we should be able to work with? I signed up but haven't done much with it yet. Want to explore selling themes eventually.

I´m learning to make website from scratch because wordpress is a PIA sometimes, but mostly because web 3.0 and PWA. My goal is to be able to develop a PWA in Web 3.0...
I already posses .crypto domain related to main business. :)

You can probably find boilerplate on github.

If your goal is to have bare minimum, there's something wrong.

WordPress is definitely not dead if you use the right theme, low amount of plugins, and optimized Litespeed hosting.
If you build on acf (+ other field plugins) instead of elementor and use function hooks instead of overkill plugins and optimize your bundle. But you don't learn it in 1 day.
