I Quit My Job!

So.. should I have? No.

I got tired of them dicking me around.. our cheap ass scheduling manager was giving everyone only 10-15 hours a week so by law she didn't have to give us employee benefits.. at least that's what the co-manager said.

I'm tired of being a slave and a peasant.. I don't understand how people are okay with living like this... I'm switching to full time Internet Marketing and hopefully I never have to look back and ever remember having a J-O-B.

I have some money saved so I can afford living for a few months. Here's to quitting my job and hoping for the best! Cheers! :beer:

good luck man! I hope to be there one day...of course on my own terms. Not sure how people are able to be satisfied with killing themselves for the minimum return.

The entire time I'm working.. I just think of all those rich people who never went to college or ever had a clue.

I think.. "there has to be an easier way than this". I'm sick of living like a little peasant and being someone elses bitch. The last 2 years I did nothing but look for a magic formula to solve my money problems instead of doing. The only good thing that came out of looking is I've researched and learned a ton of information that no school could ever teach you, and I'm glad I know what I do today.

I understand, I have been at this for about 7 months now and I am making about 1k a month through various methods, luckily I do IT work from home so I am able to spend 90% of my day working on my business

I hope you made the right decision... In my opinion, one shouldn't quit their job until their online income is more than enough to support themselves...

I remember you saying you were looking for a job after being desperate to make a buck online or 2, both on RJs and BHW. forums

If you become successful at internet marketing then congrats to you, but always remember it isn't as easy as it sounds. Don't burn your bridges till you cross them.

Congratulations coreygeer, you just joined the world of the self employed. I quit my day job a year ago and never looked back since. It was the best thing I ever did for my career. On my last day of work I walked out of the front door, looked up in the sky, held my hands high and yelled "I'M FREEEEEEEEE." It was such a relief.

Having the knowledge of everything here in BHW is the equivalent of having a Masters Degree, in my opinion of course.

It's very easy to start making money online, you just have to start somewhere. Now that you are self employed, remember to spend your money wisely and always have money in savings just in case of an emergency.

I hate the very idea of being a slave and peasant for someone else, who tell you what to do and how to do it. I am finding it hard to make the end meet online, but I am determine. Hopefully I will not need to go back to 9-5 fucking job thing.

WOW Coreygear I have to say you got spirit dude! I love to be in a place where like minded people come together like this. I lurk here alot but I have learned so much and I been marketing online about 8 years ( got more here in 8 months ). Me and my brother both got serious and left our job in Tech support 5+ years ago now. I walked out the door and felt just like you and my younger brother sounds just like you LOL.

Dude manage your savings and spend every waking hour developing stuff to make you money. When it flops ( and it might so what big deal ) tweak it and get it right. Keep in your mind that failure is not an option. Keep that spirit man. Record something today so you don't forget how you feel now. Friends will say you are crazy,family will be concerned but some people just got a spirit that is not compatible with 9 - 5 life. Get ready to work 9:00 AM - 2:00AM the next day however for a while if you have to. Get the fear of being broke out of your system because I want lie there might be a time when you will be but the right idea in the right place and BOOM you are back cooking again!

Learn all you can on here and learn to manage your money good. Good luck to you man no one but you can decide how much you make now. Lots of guys in this forum share so much it just blows me away dude just get those Ideas into action and this could be the best thing you ever done in your life! Me and my brother done it and I seen ups and downs but I am glad I did it.

One could only wish, but the benefits I refer to are the usual (insurance, pension, 401k, etc). When you're married with children these tend to be rather important in a job, and there are jobs that have good pay w/ shit for benefits, and then there are jobs like mine with great pay and great benefits. Combine this with the fact that I work 14 out of every 28 days PLUS get 160 hours of vacation every year (which goes up the longer I'm there) this will probably be the last job I'll ever have.

Call me crazy, but I actually enjoy my job....

As Onslaught mentioned, I really want to follow in your footsteps, except on my terms as well. Fortunately I have a job where I can learn about internet marketing while I'm at work...shhh, don't tell anyone.

10 / 15 hours a week.. i would quit too. Not worth it depending on your commute.

You can always get another J-O-B down the track if things don't work out - but at least you can give your best shot now at doing something you want and see how it goes.

I love being a boss and a bitch for myself.

At least I can do something I will enjoy doing instead of pretending to give a shit about some customer who's too dumb to read the menu board and has to ask how much everything costs and what's on all the sandwiches and what not.

You live one life, so why spend it doing something you hate? I love working for myself.. I love blogging/article marketing/blackhat/affiliating for porn.. it's an addiction for me.
