i was wondering what gives the prn it's functionality. I understand that prn's and regular numbers are different so that user that calls the number could easily identify when calling a prn, however what i don't understand is how the end-to-end billing works in a prn. Whenever i google this i get mostly get rich quick schemes using a prn for marketing (or something). but i would like to know where i could find the bread trail for what gives a prn it's functionality.
I know that telecom providers create these numbers, but would simply like to know how they do this.
Is this something you could create for yourself by being a telecom reseller?
