I own multiple web properties, is it safe to take a backlink from them?

I was thinking the other day. I own a few good blogs with let's say 100 + blogs on them of high quality - post counts all in region of 700-1500 words and all with say 4/6 images which are credited correctly. The blogs also got decent enough html structure h1 h2 some to h3. You get the point, these are real websites, driving traffic.

The blog posts all have scheduled content, one released at a specific time each day / day of the week, just like a professional would do it and they never miss a beat, haven't done. The content and pictures are engaging and there is no attempt to sell on them and no advertising banners etc. No ads at all.

They are all connected in my google webmaster tools and all have google analytics on them.

After how many posts do you think it's OK to take a backlink to your one of your money sites? I mean at what point does google accept it's cheeky but the greater good is the content provided to the user, not the back link itself?

I mean who builds 100 + blog posts to make traffic for the single purpose of 1 back link to their main money site right? When does google stop caring, especially if the blogs and money site are niche related.

All i want to ask .... Are you creating all blogs with same google account / browser then no dont do it.

Yes all linked with multiple admins in webmasters. You can't build a lot of nice web properties alone, not a good number anyway, and not high quality.

Has this proven economically effective? I'd imagine you'd be spending $1000 a day to put out genuine, fresh content at $10 per site.

Is genuine hard work and commitment more powerful than all these scripts and fads?

People link to their other websites in non-spammy ways all the time. There are many sites that are openly partnered/owned by the same person/organization, many of which rank very well in SERPs. Like http://www.theonion.com and http://clickhole.com. The issue with interlinking multiple sites that Google knows you own isn't that it's inherently bad or spammy to do so. The issue is more that if you spam one the others might get penalized because of their association / GBY might go scorched earth on your entire network.

In terms of how many posts/links to make, use your head. More isn't inherently better. Multiple links from the same site generally have diminishing returns.

For PBNs, I wouldn't spend $10 per article per site. And no way would I push out fresh content on a daily basis for PBNs. Fundamentally, PBNs are cost effective method of ranking kws.

Why would I waste $10 a piece articles for PBN? That doesn't make sense from any point of view, let alone economical.

PBNs are set and forget. Set up a site, design it, visit @littlewebdragon, order 50 articles for $50 altogether, upload 20 of them straight away, schedule remaining 30 over the year and done. Set and forget. There is nothing to overcomplicate nor overthink.

And yes, 1 PBN = 1 money site. There are exceptions with stronger domains and multiple money sites within the same niche, but overall, with cheaper domains, this is how I do and how I advise to do it.

Why would you wait with link?
