Well, impersonating someone in payments might qualify as wire fraud, money laundering breach etc, they wont do it, but this is not just a debt.

OP is better off if PP sends this to a collection agency, if they would fwd this to legal, he would have a real problem.

It depends what the dad says, he dont have to say nothing, but PP is also liable they did not detect an underaged person whos not fit for contracting operating one of their accounts, thus their anti fraud detection has failed or wasnt working at all, they dont want this out there.

Off them a monthly rate to pay back and thats the end of the story.
