i owe facebook money HELP

I think the lending act your referring to is for CONSUMER protection. Does not apply to businesses. Which if you have a business page and using advertising I'm sure your going to fall under that category and no doubt Facebook have the T&C to match. No credit has been issued, you entered into an agreement to purchase advertising at X fee per day / month. You have a duty to pay that or they can come after you. The fact you have done it multiple times or at least posting on here shows you are fully aware of what your doing and I doubt pleading hardship would have little effect..

Dept isn't wiped in 7 years you still have to pay that money back it's down the company to wipe the debt or not. The 6/7 year debt rule applies to having to removed from your credit file NOT the debt get's wiped clean.

No it will not mate, it is illegal for a debt collection agency to add interest to someone who is in financial difficulty,

Your acting like I have not dealt with debt collection companies before. so let me tell you a few thing.

1. if they dont get the debt within 7 years it is wiped.
2. Legally they cannot allow you to owe money if you were in financial difficulty to begin with, it is against the lending act, and the debt would be wiped.
3. The debt collection companies actually buy the debt for 10% of what it is, so they do negotiate and average of 50% discount from my experience. (1 company even did 90%)
4. They cannot harras you or the debt will be wiped.
5. This is a non priority debt, bayliffs etc would not be involved at all, the process would be to sell to a debt collection agency, and the only power the debt collection agency has is to send it to a court for the court to ask you to pay in monthly installments, thats as far as non priority debts can go.

Conclusion: you can't get someone to legally owe you money when they are in financial difficulty, this is the entire reason the lending act was changed a few years ago, because companies were doing exactly what facebook do now.

Yes mate you have to spend to get to the thresh hold, I have known someone to do chargebacks though after they get to the $200 and get all the money back without facebook disputing.

Far a start there is no such thing as the lending act in the UK. There is The Consumer Credit Act. Your assessment of Debt recovery in the UK is incorrect. If a Solicitor gave you this advice then I would check his credentials.
They can continue to chase you for 6 years under The Limitations Act unless a County Court Judgement has been issued and this would not apply and they can commence enforcement action.

Actually no, under the new lending act (I think 2015), they are not allowed to lend money to people who cannot afford it, since they did not asses my credit score, they would not have a leg to stand on under new laws, they wouldn't be able to claim the money. they can try, but they would gladly fail. My intention was to pay them back, but it didnt work out like that, and 2 years on this is where I am, I have gone to a solicitor and no matter what they will not win a case under the new lending act.
are you have sk?

I've got like 5 FB ad accounts with maxxed credit limit and they've never contacted me once about it you should be fine.
