I opened an email , am I hacked?

I opened a spam email in gmail on safari browser, it was a warning to me and asked me to pay.

The sent to address was suspicious “your@email” and sender address was some suspicious website address

Can my iPhone get hacked just by opening the email? Because on the internet I read it is possible by JavaScript to get hacked by opening an email only
no don't worry. iPhone have an architecture that everything run in sandboxes. In the past only few malware was available for iPhones but Apple fix it.

You should update your phone all the time and everything is fine.

Yes, if you clicked on a spam link, it likely few of your data is leaked to them and they could access few of your data.. Becareful with clicking on links

should i format my phone :? :weep:(((((((
Jesus, just chill and stop with the paranoia. The email was sent to “your@email” because that’s the name of the list the sender set, where he added all the recipients and sent the email to the list instead of sending the email to each recipient one by one…
