I need your advice.

A couple metrics like organic traffic, keyword rankings across your target terms, click through rate from impressions, and conversion rate from that traffic are the main ones worth tracking. GSC covers most of this for free.

if you are checking from seo side, I would look at rankings, impressions, ctr and organic traffic but quality of results comes first imo.

If I am checking for SEO side, I believe that the quality of the results is the top priority, so what standards should I adhere to?

What are the important criteria for evaluating search engine performance?
speaking ofSEO, what would be my recommendation is to put more emphasis on traffic rather than rankings. make sure the content mets your customers’ demands. content solving a problem tends to work better.

in asessing the efficiency of search engines i normally focus on a number of factors such as rankings, organic traffic, click through rate nd converrsions, among others. other aspects such as indexing, page load time nd user engagement should also be consiidered. the fact that a page ranks highly does not mean that the page is efficient bcz it may not be driving the desired traffic or results.

For SEO side I will suggest you Quality content and demanding keywords we will use then Search Engine Performance Better

I think the main things are visibility, relevant traffic and user experience. A site should bring the right visitors, not just more visitors.

one way to measure the success of SEO effort is by evaluating them from another angle that is not the ranking itself. high ranking will never mean success if the traffic generated is the wrong traffic.

Important factors are search result quality, relevance, indexing speed, response time, and how well the engine handles different types of queries.

I’d look beyond just rankings. Organic traffic quality, CTR, conversions, indexing speed, and how well pages satisfy search intent are usually better indicators imo.

I usually check rankings, organic traffic, clicks and how users interact with the website. These things give a better idea of performance.

eankings can look gud but still bring useless traffic. I usualy check if visitors are engaging and converting, becuz that shows whether the SEO is actually working.

depends if you means technical performance or real search quality tbh. index speed, crawl frequency and organic CTR or conversion rates are usually the main things worth tracking.

Two of the metrics in that list mean less than they did a year ago, and it is worth knowing why before you build a habit around them. An impression now registers whenever your result is on the page, including when an AI Overview pushed it far enough down that nobody ever scrolled to it, so impressions have partly decoupled from actual visibility. Average position has the same problem, because position one can render below an Overview panel and a video carousel. The fix is to stop reading one blended CTR and segment instead: track whether an Overview appears for each query, then compare CTR on Overview present against Overview absent separately, since the reported drops on Overview queries are big enough that a single blended number will look like your rankings fell when only the interface changed. Conversions from the clicks you do get is the one number in that list that stayed honest through all of it.

Good points. I also think checking trends over time is important, not just daily numbers. GSC gives a solid starting point without spending on extra tools.

Good point. Rankings and traffic matter, but I think conversions are what really show whether the SEO is working.

I’d judge search performance by whether organic visitors complete the site’s real goal, not rankings alone. Track impressions, clicks, qualified sessions, conversions, and revenue or leads by landing page
