I need to vent: CB ETVCORP,Satellite Direct WARNING!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if I get a few bad word in here but I'm just totally pissed off right now.

I have 5 blogs that targeted buyers for a certain niche, can't say the keywords for the fact I don't want more comp than I have already.

Well any ways, I had my blogs ranked no to bad, would have been better if the service was not being offered for free on that day, otherwise I would have got my blog to page one, was on page 4 during this time.

Now here's where things get real strange.

Days before this ***** happened (20 days) I was getting 6-15 hops for this product each day, No Sales....

The day of this *****, my 5 blogs sent a total of 692 hops for this affiliate product and produced ONLY 3 sales.....

I know what you're thinking, non-targeted traffic right?

Well this is where things get real interesting, I know the traffic was targeted because of the keyword and the ***** that was happening.

Today when I was just checking my affiliate links on my blogs, I noticed that if browsing the affiliate product site by clicking other links, the affiliate ID gets changed.....??? WTF....????

Now I'm posting this here because I know someone in this forum has had this happen to them before(and I have no idea where to post it anyways), the affiliate product site owner stealing your commissions and I'm hoping that you will tell me that contacting CB with proof of this happening will get my sales credited back to my account, if there is any, other that the site owner getting 100% commissions for all the work that I have done.

I know for a fact that sending 692 hops of highly targeted traffic would produce more sales than it did.

What are your suggestions for me to do?

Either way, I'm still contacting ClickBank about this, not sure if they will care but, this makes me wonder how many other sites are doing this that i'm promoting from my blogs?

My blogs send lots of hops, many not to greatly targeted, but they are still in the hundreds per week and the sales just don't match up.

Maybe it's just my luck or something, no idea.

Watch out for Satellite Direct as they steal your commissions.

Hope someone can put some good words in here as I'm starting to think that all the work I do is always going to go the site owner and not me. This makes me want to quite this stuff.

When you go to the homepage the site owner is redirecting under his own affiliate id. I guess this is his way of stealing a few sales of the top when visitors comeback to the site.

But if you are really worried why not click on the affiliate link at the bottom of the page and download one of the landers and host it on your own domain. Then just add a link on the lander that goes directly to the clickbank buy page. problem solved.

This is what I should have done I guess, but who really thinks of doing that?

I am at a loss of words right now.

It's sneaky but they are pushing so many sales , and as the top CB vendor - I doubt there is anything you can do. Sorry dude!

I used to promote that vendor etvcorp too. But After awhile I developed my own TV on PC website/product. It converts 1:50 targeted and commission is $20. If you check my profile you'll see my clickbank affiliate product if you want to try it out.

Go to clickbank's marketplace and search "etvcorp" and you will find the site OP is talking about.

Yes, search for "etvcorp" in clickbank.

Right now I'm getting all my click through stats with IP's and the time and date together from my 4 blogs going to this affiliate program plus information on how they are changing the affiliate ID on their site. Clickbank should have no problem tracking if there should be sales that belong to me, it's just a matter if they will do anything.

It's pretty sneaky how they do it.

The link ends up like this: hop=proniche2&myhop=iwtxb - My id still there so most people would not think much until they go to the buy page and see the affiliate id has been changed.

I could only imagine how many sales this guy steals from people.

It is not just them. I noticed several vendors doing the same. They shave 50% of the sales. That is why I no longer sell clickbank shit. The products are shit anyway and your visitors will not be very happy when they buy it.

What affiliate site like clickbank do you use if you don't mind me asking?

Not sure if this is the case here but a lot of vendors use a "affiliate rotate" script to get higher gravity.

When no cookie was placed (direct visitor) they rotate a few affiliate id's to keep the gravity up high or boost it higher.

This is common practice and is NOT stealing/shaving.

Clear your cookies and visit them directly and see what happens.

PS: I have a few contacts who promote ETVCORP and they seem to be doing great.

Also keep in mind that satellite products are harder to convert and you can usually expect more hops to get sales.

You might want to try a less known satellite product because ETVCORP has been online for many years.

Just an update.

I sent my click logs with IP address, country and date and time of the clicks I sent to this vendor today to Clickbank.

Hope they will actually take the time to see if any sales that I should have been credited to went to the vendor.

Hope they can help me with this.
