Does the automated content look good/quality? If not, your best best is to edit it until it is. Then do all the usual SEO stuff to make Google etc take notice. That will take some time obviously, so you could always to paid advertising, guest blog posts, social posting to drive traffic whilst you're waiting for Google to give you some love.
