I need to hire a developer/designer

I need to have a specialized search engine created for a new business I'm going to start. This is not a search engine to be used as part of a website - the search engine is the website. It will need to function just like Google or any other major search engine, except it will only index a fairly small number of manually selected sites.

I have established a source for the crawlers which will collect and distribute the data accordingly, so now I need somebody to design and build the search engine itself. The company supplying the crawlers has an API specifically for this purpose, so you would be responsible for building the site itself and making it a functional search engine by making use of this API.

If I dont have to manually make a crawler/spider and just have to use an API instead I may be able to do this. Still not sure about the rest of the functionalities that you are looking for.
