So I have a very seasonal micro-niche site that I'm monetizing with amazon affiliate.

This site generate about 800-1200€ yearly income, but sadly, these earning are spread on 2 months of the year. This means, for 10 months this site doesn't generate shit and this has become annoying because my hosting is payed monthly and for most part of the year this site takes a slot and doesn't generate any income.

Also, since it's a micro niche site, I have no idea how long this is going to last before it falls on page 2 or worse (for the moment, this is going to be the fifth year though).

If I try to sell, people want to pay half my yearly income because of this reason (because the site generate a profit only for 2 months). So I can't sell it at these conditions. It's a microncihe so I don't have many options to find other keywords, and even if I do, I'm not sure about investing more money on this site.

Basically I don't know what is the best option for me to handle with this site. Should I just accept that one day this site may die and I should profit as much as I can? Isn't there a way to make this site a steady income or something?

why not scaling it up... make 100's of other micro niches? If you have another 100 of these, you'll be an amazon affiliate king! ;-)

I'd sell it or just keep it and milk it until it ends

just let it generate income for you since it costs you nothing (well, apart from hosting + domain renewal) and create more sites, duh!

Also, why not switch your hosting plan to yearly instead of monthly??? This way you will feel like the website is paying for your hosting, which I assume it does anyway if you're not paying $1000 a month for hosting or other nonsense like that.

The site has been going on for 5 years without you doing anything so I really don't understand your inconvenience. Just create more sites, mate, but make sure they're in evergreen niches this time :)

gets a dirt-cheap yearly hosting first.
put money on advertising man. Like spamming people on Facebook or Emails.
Secondly creates video ads and posts on FB promotions. and ask the seller to send you a free product to promote.
(I gut free Xbox360, shampoo, oils, keyboards and monitors just by asking Amazon sellers to send me a free items for sample testing and advertising. )

Thanks

Work on the site, add more articles, its passive income for you.

please don't sell your site if you are planning to long run your website (you should do it)

my opinion is to do in-depth keyword research in a particular niche. You can go for informative keywords, versus (vs) keywords then target some money keywords. You can put related products link in your info articles. Remember, info content can generate lots of sales if you can place them properly. Only pick super low competitive keywords that you will be able to rank easily. Hopefully you will see result in 2-3 months if you do everything properly.

User Ahrefs to research keywords. You can also use SEMRush

And what hosting do you have that can't be paid with such income? Unfortunately there is not much that you can do about seasonal traffic or sales

Create a fresh site in a broader niche
When it starts to pick up traction, sell this one and go hard on content.

800-1200€ yearly income
Keep the site as it is and invest your profits in new projects, something that's not seasonal or anything else.
You have made money here now you need to scale it in simple words make more money from the money you have earned.
