I need something more powerful!

Hi everyone!
I don't usually start threads or ask for help but I am a little stuck on this one.

My site currently ranks #4 for my keyword, sometimes it bounces down to 5 or 6. The site is about 10 months old.

Here's the Traffic Travis analysis:


G Webmaster Tools shows my site having 131K backlinks. Yahoo Explorer shows 39,458 backlinks.

G Keywords Results:

I am currently only getting about 80 visitors a day from that keyword, which seems strange considering the G keyword stats.

Keyword info:
5 letters
Keyword has 47,800,000 results
"keyword" has 48,400,000 results
intitle:"keyword" has 4,590,000 results
inurl:"keyword" has 5,240,000 results

Things I've tried:

• Bought bulk blog posts on blogs
• Bought bulk blogroll packages
• Outsourced PR articles.
• I consistently blast the site with scrapebox (I rotate with my other sites, so I usually blast it every 2-3 days). (only thing that seems to work but usually only temporarily).
• I bought AMR about 2 weeks ago and blasted 14 unique articles (each one spun 150 times). I randomly blasted the articles with SB to get them to index faster. So far 31k articles have been indexed. (no results)
• I do not own xrumer so I bought several blasts from here and fiverr. (no results)
• Spent about $500 on various linkwheel/pyramid services (no results).
• I manually built networks of web 2.0 properties randomly interlinked them with my money site, and blasted the outer tiers with SB. (no results)

I want to know if anyone has any suggestions on other things to try. Should I invest in buying some links on authority sites?

Something is off. Is your term usually part of a longer tail keyword, and your not looking at exact searches, just broad?

Oh okay, I figured out the traffic issue. I didn't check the [Exact] box in G Keywords tool.
So, that knocks it down to 14,000 searches. Which makes more sense. Thanks!

The keyword can be part of long tail keywords, my site ranks in the top 10 for almost all of them.


Now, I still need suggestions as to how to beat the wikipedia page.

First off, ensure that your on page SEO is perfect as you're goona need to throw everything you have at the table to beat wikipedia.

I'd say you'll need more link diversity. Try getting links from social networks (twitter for example) via a tweetattacks blast or so. Those count well these days. I'd also recommend ensuring links you spent a lot of effort / money at get indexed. Didn't see you saying anything about social bookmarking / RSS?

I'll definately look into tweetattack. I bought a couple of social bookmarking packages but I didn't see any results. I use RSS feeds on my web 2.0 properties and articles. But I let blog comments index naturally.

My onpage SEO is probably as good as I can get it.

• Keyword in title
• Keyword in H1 tags
• Good keyword density (5.26%)
• Meta tags are all good
• Link title tags, image alt tags, and anchors are all good.
• Page size and load time are all optimized.
• Content is all unique
• URLs are all SEO friendly

I altered the title tag just now to make my keyword the first word of the title so it is something like "keyword phrase - mysite.com" it used to be "mysite.com - keyword phrase"

The main problem I have, is my site is an eCommerce site, so it is hard for me to add a lot of text on the home page. But I managed to squeeze in about 450 words. Traffic Travis page analyzer is giving my site an A+ (I don't rely on seo analyzers but just as a reference).

Hi youssef. Can you help me with tweetattacks. I have a website and I need clicks on it. I tried using tweetattacks this morning but got 5 accounts suspended in 20 minutes and only 10 clicks through wait and reply. Very poor. I'd like alot more clicks. Tweet attacks website have 127 clicks in 3 minutes. I'm not expecting that but if you could help me do that it would be fantastic.
If you could look at my website privately then suggest keywords, replies and normal replies it would be much appreciated

Wikipedia wins because of its amazing internal linking. To combat this, use a backlink analyzer and see which Wikipedia articles are linking back to the article you want to beat.

Then, go to each of those articles you found, and remove the link. Always add/edt content throughout different areas of the page, so that it'll be less noticeable.

Something I have done for adult to beat wiki for a porn stars name is, build a blog on a different IP, with the stars name in the url. Do some link trades, and then when indexed link back to my money site using my keyword as the anchor text. Then do it again, I used 2 .infos for that and it worked. But was a while ago, and I took my time, did it slow.

Great idea! I still have a few more articles I haven't blasted yet that would work great for that.

Hi all,
I figured I would give an update on this site.

My site is now #2 on G for my main keyword, now I'm just behind wikipedia. The update happened on sunday night (5/22) and has been stable since. My two main sub-keywords also went up. One of them moved from #7 to #1 and the other went from #10-13 to #3.

Its hard to determine what helped since I do a variety of different things. But for the most part I've been working on one of my other sites.

This is what I've done since I started this thread:

• Blasted 5 more articles with AMR
• SB blast about once every 2 weeks (mainly because it's getting harder to find good public proxies)
• 2 campaigns with senukex - random pyramids I made with that drag and drop thing.
• From djbunch's suggestion I created 3 blogs with .info domains each targeting a different keyword, and hosted each blog with a different company. I put 5 articles on each and blasted each blog once with SB.
• I also ordered a package of 12 linkpushes

I think the results are from either of two things, time or the linkpushes. G might have needed some time to simmer with the links I previously built. But I'm leaning more towards the linkpushes.


Next I'm going try Dexograph's plan for wikipedia internal link sabotage. I decided to hold off on it until I was #2, otherwise it would have just benefited my competition.
