I need some questions about Stripe

Hey guys,

I want to start using Stripe for my shopify store, and I have some questions. Is there any packages u can choose from or just register and start working? Anything I should know of? I dont want to start with problems or shit, I want to know everything I should be aware of.

Also, what I want to know is, if they send you the money every time someone buys from my store, or the money goes to my Stripe balance, and then I can withdraw whenever I want.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!

Stripe alone won't cut it, because you can't accept PayPal payments with it and without accepting PayPal payments, you'll leave a nice chunk of money on the table. You may either want to use PayPal (Premier or Business account to be able to accept credit card payments) or you can use 2Checkout too to accept PayPal and credit card payments without the need to involve your PayPal account. Stripe is redundant in both cases.

I already have set up a paypal express checkout, but that only accepts registered paypal accounts. I wanted to setup a credit card payment processor, and because Paypal PRO for payments isnt enabled in germany (only in us, canada, and uk), Im forced to use stripe combined with paypal, that way no one would be forced to register on paypal if they want to pay directly with card.

How about the money transfer? Do they transfer money anytime someone makes a purchase, or I can go for the option to manually withdraw the money whenever I want.

last time i checked it was 7 days + bank processing time. In the US they are starting with immediate payments.

If you are based in germany expect 8-9 days to recieve funds from sale in shop.

So that means they send money from a purchase directly to your bank acc. I was hoping if they collect it in their balance, and then send it all together.
