I need some opinions

Hello everyone.
I've been selling a certain product, it's in the weight loss niche and it's priced at $47 and I get a commission of $31 for every sale I make. Now over the course of 14 days, I've had 918 hops, 40 order form impressions and only 2 sales. I've made at least 6 sales in total if I look over past results and I've only had 1 refund. All my advertising has been targeted, and I send them to my own review site. The product itself looks good to me, even the sales page looks like it'll sell alright.

Yesterday I had 79 hops, and 8 order form impressions with 0 sales. So I need all your opinions on why I'm not making as much sales with this product?

I've had my own thoughts, and let me get this out of the way first - I'm 100% sure Clickbank DOES NOT cheat affiliates. But can a vendor cheat an affiliate? I've checked out the order form page, and my affiliate link is at the bottom. Also like I said I've made sales in the past with this product so I can't jump the gun and say he's outright screwing me over. Sometimes I get paranoid about these things. Another thought is that maybe the product truly isn't worth the price, does $47 seem a bit much for a weight loss eBook? In my opinion, I'd say yes it's a little over priced.

In my opinion, your traffic isn't as targeted as it should be - with targeted traffic, I get around 2 sales per 100 hops.

Also, youre pre-sell should help woth conversions

Try promoting other products too. I've seen better conversions when I switched from a high gravity product to a much lower one.

That's an exceptional conversion ratio and it is truly better than most people.

Scale your traffic even more and see if you can annihilate your doubt with more volume.

Just a quick update, yesterday I got 119 hops and 10 order form impressions alone on this product but still zero sales. It's weird but I guess that's business, gotta keep on trying. That's not to say I haven't made sales in the past with this certain product, still it's mildly frustrating.

It's hard to say but $47 is a bit on the high end. We have split-tested many products on clickbank and almost always $37 or 39 does much better than 47, not just volume-wise (which is intuitive) but also profit wise as the higher $ per sale is never enough to offset the drop in volume.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Last night I really bumped up my efforts, followed the advice given here and got 217 hops and 12 order form impressions on this product in one day! Still absolutely zero sales. I'm quite concerned, I can't tell what's wrong other than it being too high priced and I don't want to say the vendor is screwing me over, I really don't because I have made sales in the past with him. I mean, why would he bite the hand that feeds him? Makes no sense, so I really can't say he's screwing me over. I'll have to go with the product being too pricey

But why and how would he screw you over? By somehow hiding your sales? That kinda doesn't make sense.
Sales are pretty weird I have to agree with you. I suggest you giving it more time and you will see a sale.

To give you some perspective, my main product which I promote on my MCN website (so pretty damn targeted traffic) got 80 hops, 10 order form imp. and I saw my first sale. Now it's at 250 hops, 22 order form impressions and I haven't seen another sale since.. it's very frustrating, I'm starting to think that niche is too small and saturated and I need to change it(it was 1 month since I started with that product). Is ~1.5 month enough to say product is bad? BTW this product is pretty cheap (~29$)

My another product was very expensive (95$) and I got 300 hops , 22 order form impressions and got 2 SALES even though traffic wasn't targeted at all.. I don't get it.

Yeah you're right... It doesn't make any sense for him to screw me over. I'm just being paranoid as Hell.

Sales are weird, I agree. Sometimes I get large amount of hops with no sales. On a slow day I get low hops with sales! Which is exactly what happened to me today. I finally made a sale with this product and it felt so random because it was at the start of the day.


I'll stop being paranoid now lol. But thanks again to everyone for the advice/opinions.

Which soure of traffic do you use, if you buy it from Facebook or GA i think it's much clear. Even traffic from Google is not that bad
