Hi,
I am trying to rank my .com site for google.ca and not google.com. Most of the traffic should come from .ca as they are local keywords. I host with hostgator and my site is .com
I am targeting 6 different keywords and they are all ranking in google.com 2nd pages but not found anywhere in google.ca
All my keywords have city+keyword variations in them. For example, toronto dog training, dog training toronto (not my keywords). And all the contents on my site only mentions toronto and canada and I have no other cities or countries name on it. I have done backlinks. My backlinks are done in link pyramid like tier1, tier2, and tier3. For my tier 1 I have web 2.0's and some high pr sites. Tier2, are social bookmarks, high pr sites, forum profiles, and other high pr sites. Tier 3 is all xrummer links and scrapebox blog comments. I have read on the forums that a .ca domain and country specific hosting and canadian backlinks would help in ranking in Canada or google.ca. Anyone face this kind of situation. What do you guys suggest I do next? A little help would be really appreciated. Thanks
