So a buyer bought something from me that costs $300. But he has no feedback and I do not trust him. The payment is not sent it but I don't want to ship it to him. Can somebody help me?

Tell him to pay you 300$ up front regarding of the nature of the object. So there is no risk for you.

Also, you can ask for the full payment up front too ..
 
theres a way to do it in ebay i can't remember how but just contact ebay and say "i ran out of stock on this item how do i cancel the order"

with this he could reverse the payment once you send him the item. not safe
 
just don't do any thing that will cost you any amount of money + headache. so, stay on the safe side by simply ignoring him.
 
Can you no longer set your auctions to require certain amounts of feedback before someone can place a bid/buy?

I still see sellers do that but it's in their ad right upfront. You can't change the rules after you've made the sale.

ebay only lets you do -1 , -2, -3 feedbacks. you can't auto block ALL zero people. You can cancel bids, then place them on block list. this guy won the item already. it's very easy to solve the situation. CALL PAYPAL. say I want to verify this payment, they will call the person who made it, verify it, and they can no longer do an unauthorized charge. of course can still do item not as described or not recieved.

most big sellers not (say coins/paper money) over 1k, will video tape the process of wrapping the item, sealing it up, and affixing the shipping label with corresponding tracking number to have complete assurance and proof for paypal. With this you have a near fool proof system, if you're running a white hat operation.

Agreed and once you get the money, ship the item to him with a tracking number to his confirmed address only.
 
if the item is for 300 dollars . I would make sure he pays first before you send the item. Second make sure you put delivery confirmation + signature that way if he is gonna open dispute with paypal you have proof that you send the item and he signed for it. Make sure you send only to the address that he has with paypal and if he tell you can you send it to my uncle don't do it. In your ebay you can actually set your preferences for the amount of feedback that people must have to even bid for your item. Hope this helps.
 
What sucks about canceling is that paypal will actually charge simply for refunding a payment you received. If you're uncertain then refund to the buyer. eBay does not work in sellers favor.
