I need some Guidance

Hey guys,

I have a recipe site which is earning me abut $20-30 a day which is nice but come on, I have bills to pay. Right now my traffic comes almost exclusively from pinterest and 89% of the traffic comes from the US. I want to make money using clickbank and I have two ideas, I am just not sure which to do.

Idea 1:
Make youtube videos, make small videos that show some recipes, link to my website and to some CB cookbook offers. Buy views and rank the videos. I am hoping this will get people to buy the cookbooks, or at the very least bring more traffic to my website.

Idea 2:
Make pages on my website which promotes the CB cookbook offer. This one to me is iffy as I am not sure if Adsense will be ok with this, and I am not sure how my users will respond to it.

I will say I have put an opt in email list on my website and I have people signing up, I am using chimpmail to make an email and to send it out every sunday. In the email I have the recipe of the week and a CB offer. So far no sales, I haven't and don't expect any sales anytime soon. I would just like to add a new way of earning.

I would really like someones input on the subject. I respect all of your experience.

I would stick to building an email list, don't worry about trying to sale a product right now.
With your list, and viewers, send them valuable info, and free things, try and build a very good relationship first.

After that, create a buyer's list, send them a cheap product that you made for $1 - $5, then after they buy it, have them optin to another list,
and treat that least even better than the other one, because they bought from you.

Do this for a good amount of time, till you KNOW that you have a strong relationship, then try promoting clickbank product.
Talk about the product as though you had an actual problem, then causally mention the product with your affiliate link, and go on to talk about your problem some more, and how better you are now.

Just my 2 cents, id go into more detail about a few more things, but im tired.
