I need ideas to make popular a social network website

Dear BHW Members

I am a marketing manager for Sidetick.com.

I am looking for valuable ideas from my fellow BHW members , how i can popular this website asap.

I know i can bring traffic through article submission, directory submission, social bookmarking sites submission, through other social websites like myspace, facebook, twitter and other backlinking process and seo process.

So please mentioned if any other ideas also apart from this. and also how to implement those ideas plz tell that too.

What kind of incentive would be good to offer for joinups? Upgraded membership would be a good one eh.

I've been thinking about competitions too, that would work, there's a network of ppl that enter competitions to earn a living and do well with it too - numbers game like anything else I suppose :0)
