Ok so I began selling on eBay a few months ago. I found some what I thought were reputable suppliers on Alibaba and DHGate. Anyway I called eBay today to try and have my selling limits lifted and they asked for supplier information. The information The representative gave me scared me so I started digging on Google. Come to find out my specific supplier has been highlighted as a counterfeiter. Now I am terrified to proceed with the eBay requests. How can I get past this road block? Can I fabricate documents? As I am sure if I provide an invoice from these suppliers I will be terminated from selling on eBay. Please help!!!! :(

if you are selling 'real' goods and you are getting them from china and you don't see the problem, you are an idiot

Ok guys I get it I'm an idiot, point being I've learned my lesson. Im looking for another supplier right now, but I'm still in the flames with eBay. Instead of throwing grease at me how about a little water?

I suppose you are correct, but at least enough water would dilute :p lol

Help. I need somebody, help. Not just anybody...

couldnt not help it, such a descriptive title!

Are you mister Cla***n from Ruckersville, Virginia? If so, I doubt you can save your account now. You do realize these forums are heavily watched right? Don't mix water and grease, don't mix black&white for all to see.
The cashier thing at McDonalds made me chuckle a bit tho.

Not sure 'bout your problem though as you will soon be limited me thinks. Otherwise, find a new supplier and try again?

Hope this helps. :)

I think you are mistaken. Of course I realize this, though this question has been asked on this forum before, but those guys were just as unhelpful as you guys have been. Thanks for trying to dig up information on me though, I see which side of the fence you stand on.

^^I am not against you. :) If it feels that way I'm sorry.

EDIT:Then again, you did something that's not wise and with even 30 seconds of research you would known that. Now you want a kuddle and a way out from an impossible situation?

I suppose a better question would be what LEGAL option do I have?

I suppose a better question would be what LEGAL option do I have?

Remove your listings, get a genuine supplier (FYI: There are none in China for branded goods) and start again. I'm sorry but that is your only legal option. If you don't fancy that, it's time to look into stealth accounts.

Personally I'd go with the first option, but your business = your choice.

Ha a kuddle? No not at all. I simply asked a question. I am ok starting over, especially since my account was in my cousins name. I simply did not want to part with the 86 positive feedback I had accrued. But thanks guys.

Burn your ebay account, and start again... run it all stealth. that's how it's done son!

You are okay with a borrowed account from your family getting banned? NOW I am against you.

No no no. My cousin is a supporter of eBays competition. They don't shop on eBay, so its all good. They just care about the fees being paid (which I regrettably took care of yesterday), had I had known this issue was going to spring up I would have taken the money and ran. But yea, Now I suppose its time to cut the ties and move onto other platforms, Or better yet, Begin selling offline. Stealth doesn't sound like such a terrible option, I guess I'll play it by ear. Pity though, I liked eBays platform, and made them a lot of money.

Yes eBay has competition lol alternatives are popping up everywhere, some even declare they are in direct competition and provide benefits to "jumping ship", I know because I decided to move on myself.. And enoun looks to be a graveyard/yard sale platform.. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will continue to look into it.

which competition would you say is worth a try? thousands of new sites are pooping out and it's just confusing which works and which one's don't.
