Hi everyone,

I'm a girl in her thirties. I quit my job a month ago due to health issues (I'm schizoaffective). Since the beginning of 2025, I've been hospitalized three times. I'm having a hard time keeping a job. Trust me, I really tried. I need money to eat and pay off my debts. Where do I start? I wanna get my head above the water, I'm drowning. Thanks :)

Again, I am not a doctor, but you need to be stable first before you can worry about paying off any debts. After you become a little more stable, you may try working in a low-pressure environment. I don't know where you're located, but maybe you could try working in Trader Joe's since it pays minimum, but they do have good benefits, and the workplace culture is good. https://www.traderjoes.com/home/careers

You're not useless and worthless, and things will get better; you have to believe in yourself and work with the help that you're getting. If you ever need anything, feel free to let me know. Keep your head up!!!
 
Since you're looking to start earning, maybe begin with low-stress remote options like data entry, writing, or selling digital services on Fiverr or Upwork. Even small wins can add up. You’ve got this.

Thank you for your message. I have a Fiverr account with Gigs up but never got a single order.
 
You are still young to start new ventures. I would suggest you to take something that interests you. Since you have some health issues it will be helpful if something you do feels you good. Try to build a small skill in demand and you love to do. that you won't be tired to do.
 
I'm a skitzoidorama effective too!! I been locked up in the looney asylum 6 times! lol I'm still working harder than ever. Learn to focus and concentrate on well-researched goals. That's ALL you have if you want to do anything and get anywhere. Best of luck.

Considering your health condition, you need something easy to do and which works. You can learn how to lay the favorite horses at the bet exchange daily. Takes 1-2 hours daily and you could earn enough from it monthly.
 
Find some remote jobs. There are multiple portals that list them. You can find a chat support or call support agent job.
