I need help with promoting my telegram channel on reddit.

Creating a subreddit is fine — but don’t expect it to be a magic funnel day 1. New subs need content and activity to look legit. Seed it with genuine posts, let a few people engage, then slowly invite your audience. Spam the rules and you’ll rinse the whole thing.
Does the topic matter when creating it, like do I need to mark it as NSFW to strictly avoid any confrontations with the rules of the platform?

with reddit, always be subtle while promoting. one downvote initially or a comment is enough to get others to tear apart the post/comment.

You don't need to age your subreddit, but you do need at least a decent-looking account with some karma before creating one.

"Reddit can be tricky. New accounts get filtered fast, so slow organic aging + natural engagement usually works better. Avoid direct promo, mix comments with value posts, and build trust first. Subreddit also needs some age/activity before posting."

"Reddit is strict bro. New accounts get filtered fast. Best is to age accounts slowly, mix real comments, avoid direct promo, and build trust first. Subs also need some activity before posting or Reddit auto-removes stuff."

"Reddit’s filters are super strict now. New accounts get flagged fast. Best is slow aging, real engagement, and avoiding any direct promo at first. Also make sure your sub/account has some activity, or Reddit auto-removes posts."
