i'm building a wordpress site right now and can't figure out how to change the default image on the front page can someone please help me

Are you looking to hire someone to fix this? It's probably an easy fix. Most themes have theme options, have you checked that? What theme are you using?

Go to dashboard, you may find theme options there, each theme has its own settings, look up there and u may find slider image or background image there!
