Hi! I'm new to this forum, and I just want help for getting my Twitter account back. I wanted to change the email that I use for Twitter, and when I did, my account was suspended. It said that my age was too young. However, it was the same age as my old account. I posted an application on the Twitter support page, but no one has helped me and it has been probably 3 months. So if you could help me or ask someone at Twitter why I was suspended. That would be great. Thank you in advance!

They started doing this early last year sometime and there is quite a bit written on the subject. Even businesses are getting locked out by the age problem. Shareholders have even taken notice and supposedly brought it up at Shareholder meeting, so Twitter is well aware of the issue. I don't know if it's been resolved or what.

Try this from reddit

Yeah, I don't have a government official ID so I can't do this. Thanks for the help though. I'll try something else. Thanks.

It says 'government-issued ID', not 'government ID'

Government-issued = drivers license, passport, etc.

Do you know that Twitter authority send a message for why they suspend you. Might be spamming.

You can appeal the suspension, they have a form on their site.

When they do that remember it's your fault and as far as possible you can't back that account. So try to create new one.
