I need help setting my domain

Hey wats up everyone...i hope yall have a fantastic weekend so far..i need little help from you guys..
I recently started making my own website with the Jimdo web site builder. I choosed this web site builder bcoz they got a lot of really helpful plugins and easy interface. So I builded my website.
Now today I bought a very cheap domain from Namecheap for 0,88$ (.info domain) but the problem is that I got no clue how to use it on my website. I don't know if I gotta transfer it to Jimdo or it gotta stay at namecheap or what..i will ask Jimdo support for sure but since atm I'm on mobile I wanted you guys to tell me what to do..Im noob in all of this SEO thingy so don't get mad of my stupid question..

You need to point your domain on your hosting with A record in DNS setting.

I haven't ever used Jimdo, but it should be like this:
As stated on https://support.jimdo.com/domains-email/use-an-existing-domain/
You need: "Connect the external domain but keep it with your current registrar."

And when it comes to NameCheap you are up for:
https://www.namecheap.com/support/k...ow-can-i-change-the-nameservers-for-my-domain
And you will be looking at option:
CustomDNS

Where you should probably just add:
ns1.jimdo.com
ns2.jimdo.com

And everything should be running smoothly.

Keep in mind after updating nameservers it can take a while to propagate (anywhere from a few minutes up to 48 hours, though I've never seen it take that long). So if you set it up properly and it's still not loading, be patient and if it's configured correctly it will eventually start pointing correctly.

Thanks for the replys guys..im already in contact with the namecheap support and they told me that they will set up my domain on their side and thats very nice..but in jimdo support they are saying that I gotta add thru the page add domains..but I think its only available when you paid for one of their plans..and that sucks bcoz i gotta pay 10$ more but whatever if you guys know ways to do it free ill much appreciate if you share it with me but ill still contact the jimdo support so yeah..
