I need help guys. I need your guidance. I'm so lost

I'm trying to get started in this YouTube world. I'm totally new to this world. I see people making decent money monthly. And I'm out here struggling to make ends meet. The will power to learn and do this is high right now.

1. How do you guys find niches to get into. How do you go about doing your niche research? I've searched through the forum. Haven't really seen anything on this subject.

2. Is there a guide someone on Keyword research for YouTube? How to find low competition keywords with decent or high volume?

3. Are there any really good guides on getting on YouTube and making money. I've came across some good ones. But I feel there are probably still some I haven't found.

I greatly appreciate your help guys. I hope there are people willing to pass on the knowledge.

Hey there, I totally understand how you are feeling. Youtube keeps growing every year and there are plenty of posts here showcasing how successful it can be for some creators.

1. It's understandable that most people here don't expose their niches in fear of more competition. When it comes to niche research, I think the most common method is looking for successful channels in topics that you are interested in, understanding what's going on for them and trying to make a similar channel with your own twist.

2. I personally like Morningfa. It got a free option with a decent keyword research tool you can use.

3. There are some really good guides all over the internet on making money with Youtube in various different ways. Most of them are paid. In regards to ranking (which is my area of expertise) I like reading websites such as Backlinko and Ahrefs. Lots of good free insightful content.

The trouble with Youtube is most of the main niches you find are oversaturated. So you either have to make a unique twist on a popular niche or completely invent a need in a niche that gets regular views.

Most of the guides out there for marketing on Youtube give you the basic structure of a method but do not actually provide the guts you need to make it successful. They nearly all pretty much give information on things you can pretty much workout yourself and are obvious.

There are many guides out there on Youtube SEO and each one pretty much give the same advice i.e place the target keyword phrase in the title, add target keyword and related keywords in a well written description and place the target keyword and related keywords in the keyword tags.

For researching keywords you can pretty much use the Google Keyword Tool to find low competition keywords to rank for on Youtube. Since you will be getting clicks from the Google search engine when your videos ranks.

Also when you find long tail keywords it is best to test those in the Google search engine to see if any Youtube videos are already ranking for that keyword. Since if there are already other Youtube videos ranking they can be hard to knock off the top even if they are only just a related keyworded video.

Most people will also encourage buying views, likes and comments to your videos to further aid your Youtube rankings.

As for finding niches to target this is sadly the hardest part and where most people fail.

I will generally choose a niche and look on answer websites like Quora or Yahoo Answers to find questions that people are asking about that topic. Then I check to see if there is a related keyword that is getting visits/views and then create a video that answers that actual question and targets that keyword.
