No method is 100% immune from loss of rankings given that there are numerous updates being rolled out. Make a list of your main keywords and see how much they have dropped in rankings before you could decide on the next steps to take. Traffic is relative to keyword rankings, without which it is impossible to get help.

You may also want to check the exact date that you started to lose rankings and figure out if there had been a specific update which you could then seek more information about.

Welcome to my world. I used to get 700 clicks a day with CL traffic. Now I can't get ads up and I get 15-20 clicks a day. Going broke fast!

First see if your website is still indexed by Google. If not, chances are your website has been found by Google to be low quality and spammy and they probably massively dropped your rankings, which is leading to less traffic. Another thing you can look at is you webmaster tools for messages regarding any action taken against your website. Once you know what happened, then you can focus on how to fix it.
