I need help, as I'm really new to scraping and backlinks.

The only type of hacking I really know how to do is things involving Backtrack, and all these new things are really interesting and prospective ideas, but I can't seem to find a starting point. I'm probably going to buy ScrapeBox and would like to get an experienced person's tutorial (not video, I'm not good with those) on scraping and what it is and all about backlinks, what they are and how to go about them.
