I need football!!!

Now that the summer is in full effect, the countdown to football has begun. These next few months are gonna go by so slow but I'm ready for football to be back on. Who's your team!?

Nwe York Giants
NC A&T Aggies (Current School)
Miami Hurricanes (always been a fan)

yeah american football where guys aren't flopping around everywhere and crying when they get poked on the shoulder.

My squad is the Broncos....we got the best squad in the league right now IMO but it's a matter of not choking like last year. Peyton usually has trouble in the playoffs so after we go 13-3 or 12-4 during the season hopefully we can keep it up in the playoffs. If Rahim Moore defends that hail mary properly vs the Ravens we could've won the whole thing last year.
 
I watch plenty of international soccer. The U-20 world cup isn't as entertaining as the Federations Cup right now but it'll do. I do however wanna save up enough money to go to a World Cup to support team USA one year. Hopefully in a place where its warm, the women are exquisite and its plenty of drinks to go around.


But this thread here....is....about....American.........FOOTBALL!

Sir, yes sir the Broncos are indeed my preseason AFC pick....anything less than a super bowl is underachieving.

exactly. i been waiting since 98 for another broncos SB, its either get to the big game or it's a bust this year
 
Isn't American football some kind of rugby where you wear hockey protection and you can pass the ball forward?

I was wondering if the American version of football would take a bashing. Some of the comments are damn funny and now that I think of it, spot on about American football.

What I'm curious about is this. Didn't World football happen before American football? If it did then why did the Americans call their version football at all? It seems a bit confusing to have two sports called football that are not even similar. Just curious why the second that came into existence used a term already used by the first.
